Subject[Csnd] Csound iOS App?
Why is there no iOS app (for iPad, iPhone, etc.) similar to the Android
Csound6 app?

As I understand it this is due to Apples philosophy of distribution. Everything has to go through the App Store and you need to pay a license to be allowed to upload stuff to it.

Also, DrB and his Lab are working on a full featured Csound app for at least the iPad, I believe.

Anders

Are you willing to mention a little about them?
I am wondering if i will be able to run old orc/scos for my Just Intonation research and i am also wondering about FLTK .csds which would be wonderful

we have not yet tried to do FLTK things - but I will look into this.
we definitely run .orc and .sco and .csd and MIDI-based and onscreen widget based (our custom widget) files from within the app.

Oooh!

The white fuzz around the chin of the good Dr B on the csound conference video streams were not just codec error. It seems Boulanger Labs have a North Pole facility and a hoovesome distribution system.

I'll keep a firm watch out and will strictly avoid crying or pouting from now on.
