Dear friends,

I am going to install Csound6. Until now I have used Csound5. Before
installing the old version do I need to uninstall the old one? How?

If I remember right Csound6.01.zip is source code and your OS isn't 10.8 so
if I were you I would download csound6.01.00OSX10.6-x86_64.dmg.

I have installed csound6.01.00-OSX10.6-x86_64.dmg.
Now, when I open CsoundQt-d-cs6 it doesn't work, I have a error message
containing, among others, these lines:
Dyld Error Message:
  Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/libcsnd.6.0.dylib
  Referenced from:
/Applications/CsoundQt-d-cs6.app/Contents/MacOS/CsoundQt-d-cs6
  Reason: image not found

How long ago was that version downloaded? That is the same thing I ran into
with the 10.8 build. This little snippet should solve the problem thanks to
Victor Lazzarini, though I haven't tried it myself:

Before the installers are fixed you can do this to fix the problem in your
machine 

- open the terminal 
- run the command 

sudo ln -s
/Library/Frrameworks/CsoundLib64.framework/Versions/6.0/libcsnd6.6.0.dylib
/usr/local/lib/libcsnd.6.0.dylib 

that will create a link and any of the CsoundQt versions will link. 

I am creating a new installer for 10.6 that will fix this.

Just download it again, because the installer was broken, but it's fixed now.
