Thanks for your informative response.
I fear I was having a senior moment (or day, or week). We had determined
just a few weeks ago that MIDI and FLTK were not coexisting nicely on
Windows *XP* only - not other Windows OS's.
At the time I had thought the problem was FLTK widgets, but now it's clear
that it is MIDI only.
On XP, with 6.00.1, the only MIDI currently functional is the virtual
keyboard (with -+rtmidi=virtual).
I hope that Michael can identify the source of the problem. Certainly, MIDI
not working with 6.00.1 in XP is a more serious issue than FLTK.
OTOH, I wonder how many Windows Csounders are still on Windows XP?
