[Csnd] re 6.01 and WinXP

Subject[Csnd] re 6.01 and WinXP
Am I correct that the latest version of Csound will not run
correctly on WinXP? I gather from here and there that WinXP is
still widely in use, so I'm wondering why the creators of csound
aren't still supporting it. (Especially since everyone has such
a bug about keeping it backward compatible with versions built
originally for DOS!) [Of course, if it IS able to run correctly
on WinXP, that's great. If not, some way of indicating that on
Sourceforge would be helpful, so XP'ers won't waste time trying
to make it work.)

Then you might be able to build a package for XP.
