Just out of curiosity, has anyone experienced any problems running Csound and anything related to it with OSX Mavericks? I don't seem to be having any problems with csound in general but I do have an unrelated problem with my free RAM being around 6 MB (a new low for my Macbook Pro) to 1.3 GB. It's usually much higher than 1.3 GB. I have a total of 4 GB on my mac. I hope my comp isn't going to die but that's besides the point right now. I haven't used Csound that much under mavericks yet so I'm curious if anyone that uses Csound more heavily than I do experienced any issues. -- View this message in context: http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/Semi-OT-Anyone-experience-problems-with-csound-under-mavericks-tp5728767.html Sent from the Csound - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

Have a look at the activity monitor to see how much memory Csound is using. In general it will depend on your code. If there is a specific CSD you want investigated, you can post it here. You can use the purge command in terminal to free up inactive memory. I've had problems with gigs of inactive memory after editing in Final Cut.
