Subject[Csnd] UDO repository down
I try clicking on one of these (http://www.csounds.com/community/user-defined-opcode-database/) and I get this:

"Please select a User-Defined Opcode to display it's content."

SubjectRe: [Csnd] UDO repository down
It looks like:

http://csounds.com/udo/

also is empty. Maybe Christopher could comment on it, but it looks to
me like database that was used for the UDO's got deleted.

Howdy! This is something I noticed as well on the previous drupal site.
I will look into the ftp if there is anything there but it seems it may
have been down for a while, previous to the relaunch. But something
could of happened, when was the last time it was thumbed through?

Try out this link and thumb around. I am pretty definite all of them are
linked properly unless I skipped one by accident. There were a few in
the udo folder that were not originally defined here, those will be the
next to be added.

SubjectRe: [Csnd] UDO repository down
Hi Christopher,

Unfortunately, all that page does is statically link to the UDO's that
were created. The original page was a dynamic system:

http://www.csounds.com/udo/

Where users could submit and browse the entries in a formatted page.
There was a database that backed the page. Either the database tables
were deleted, or the database connectivity credentials have changed,
or more.

Could you check the database to see if the tables are there? If they
are, then the pages need to be updated to be able to access the db.
NOTE: The UDO Database also has a remote API for browsing the entries
and downloading them, which is incorporated in Blue to allow users to
download a UDO directly into their project. That is now broken.

Please restore the original UDO repository. If you have problems,
email me off list. If it's not restored, please take my name off the
static page as it no longer reflects what I put together.

Yes, I agree that one of the useful aspects of the UDO database was that anyone could add to it. That said, I think Christoper is likely a volunteer working overtime on this, so it's important to keep that in mind. Maybe a backup was made from the previous site and the code can be restored? (even if not included within the global CMS system?). If not, maybe Steven has some backups somewhere that could be used?

Cheers,
Andrés

All the examples are missing too :( All that's left of Steven's
original page is the actual UDO code? Hopefully it will all be sorted
in time for the conference, which should be bringing some extra
traffic to the site.
