a CSD showing what you are doing would help, otherwise it's difficult to advise you.

Try just

a1,a2 diskin2  "FilePath, 1

there is no need to set "iformat" if you are not using a raw/headerless sound file.

Well, we would need a complete CSD showing this behaviour, because it is not reproducible. Also we
would need the soundfile you are using.

Have you trie setting 0dbfs to 1 ?  I notice you are using a 24bit sound
file and it is just possible there is an issue there.  What versio of
libsndfile are you using?
