Subject[Csnd] android csound question
i have installed Csound6.apk from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/csound/files/csound6/Csound6.01/ on a
htc desire c. it works quite well, for instance iain's haiku and even
trapped. but i do not get any feedback from csound while running: no
console or anything. the screen only consists of:

New-Open-Edit-Start buttons on the top;
five sliders below;
five buttons below;
and downside a trackpad.

does anyone know how i can get a console and perhaps even other goodies?

thanks -

	joachim

I'm guessing the screen is just shorter than the one I developed on.

Mike

Hello Joachim,

I suspect your request is not a trivial one.

The console output is in a scrolling area (at the bottom of the screen if your device is big enough). Putting the whole display in a scrolling area does work, but the console area just grows to however many lines the console contains. The android tools also give a warning about using nested scrolling areas.

So it would need quite a bit of work to redesign the ui and get the code to match the new ui.

All the best,

Jacques
