I downloaded the current installer for Csound with
CsoundVST from my home page at www.michael-gogins.com and was able to
run it.
However, for whatever reason, I had to make several
attempts to download the installer before I got one that would run. Perhaps you
should try until you succeed.
As noted, it is not clear whether you:
Want to use Csound to render MIDI sequences as
sound, or
Want to use Csound to create MIDI
sequences.
Which is it?
Hope this helps,
Mike

Dear Michael, dear Ilterzouomo, thanks for Your tipps. I've succeeded now downloading and installing csound-Vst. But after having installed it and having added the paths to cubase (as described in http://www.csounds.com/manual/html/CommandCsoundVST.html I wasn't able to run cubase. Maybee I should reinstall it. I want to use Csound-VST for producing midi-sequences. I want to record different tracks with different csound-instruments. Maybee there is another solution available? I should maybee mention, that I use also Kubuntu and Rosegarden. 2010/1/1 <michael.gogins@gmail.com>

Hi, Since you are on linux, I recommend you use jack to connect audio to/from your sequencer, And use alsa MIDI for MIDI connections. Cheers, Andres On Fri, Jan 1, 2010 at 8:41 PM, Stefan Thomas |
