Subject[Csnd] How to see error output in max with csound~?
Hi folks, wondering if anyone can tell me how to see csound compilation error messages beyond "csoundCompile() failed" when using the csound~ object in Max. I've been looking through the help and manual but haven't found anything yet...

thanks!

In Pd, we see that in the console. Not sure what happens on Max.

Thanks Victor, I'll muck about and see what I can figure. I'm doing a Pure Data port of Scheme for Max as part of my thesis project this summer, so once that's gotten a little further I'll be checking out the Pd csound object too!

In the meantime, I can just compile it at the command line too to get the error messages.
