Dear community, first of all: a happy new Year to everebody of You! I have a question about using csound in conjunction with cubase. Do I have to install csound-vst, when I want to record midi sequences of csound-instruments in cubase? I tried to download csoundVst from Michael Gogins homepage, but without success, maybee there is a problem on the server, today. |

Dear Mr. Stefan,
i think that You can save a midi file with csound
and then You can read this file in cubase (like any other midi
files).
You need to have csound vst only if You want to use
csound like a Vst plugin instrument (i.e. like a synth or fx processor, or..)
for use in cubase. In the latter case You need to read the tutorial by Mr.
Gogins where is explained how to use csound vst (it's included in csound
package, if i'm correct).
Just a mini help
ciao, happy new year,
fran.
