Subject[Csnd] Online Csound Course website
Hi,

Here's a sneak preview of the new Csound course I'm working on:
https://gsenna.github.io/learn-csound-site/.

Right now it's Spanish-only and there is also only one video so far
(which I'll have to re-shoot because it's too long), but I think you'll
get the general idea when you move around the links in the menu. Any
feedback you can provide is more than welcome!

I have to say the design is 99% Steven's work, so props to him for
creating and sharing so much of what he does.

In the videos I've used Figures and audio examples from US copyrighted
material, but I think I'm covered by the TEACH Act? Does anyone know
something about this? If that's not the case, please inform me and I'll
take the video down.

Cheers!

Hi Guillermo,

Neat! I tried in Firefox but the navigation and site seems to get
messed up when I clicked the "Ver" button. Chrome worked better but
there is no "ver" button. I was able to play videos and start
rendering Trapped in the browser.

Thanks!

Hey Steven,

Is that on mobile (or maybe you use your desktop browser with a lot of
zoom)?  Android or iOS? The Ver (View) button should only appear on the
mobile version and I've yet to put some work on that, specifically with
respect to the width and font size of both the the editor and content
panels. Also, I've noticed that on Android you have to click every
button twice for it to work. I'll investigate that further.

Did you mean that when you said "messed up"?

Cheers.

No, this is on desktop Firefox with default zoom that the Ver buton
shows. For messed up, once I click the Ver, it toggles between
showing only the code editor or only the video, but then I can't get
back to the split view.

Oh, I see. That's what the Ver button is supposed to be doing on mobile. The weird thing is that it shouldn't be visible on desktop unless you have a screen width of less than 800px, or if you set you browser zoom to +250%. Maybe I should lower the width value because I was actually trying to cover only the mobile users by using css and a media rule.

I think I know what you mean about not being able to get back to split view after pressing Ver. I'll try to sort it out.

Thanks for the feedback!
