The latest version of Cabbage is now available:

For those not in the know, Cabbage is a Csound front-end used for
developing audio instruments, either as standalone GUIs, or VST
plugins. I'm afraid to say that this version is for windows only. I
won't be anywhere near an OSX machine for about 3 weeks so until then
OSX users will just have to sit tight. There is a basic OSX version
available from the Cabbage google code site but some of the latest
features such as pre-sets, automation, popup widgets, etc will not
work. Nevertheless, it will let you create fully functional Csound
VSTs on OSX.

I'm also happy to announce an online portal for all things Cabbage. At
"www.TheCabbageFoundation.org" you will find forums, tutorials,
samples instruments, news of latest releases, etc. Cabbage related
questions are best directed to the forums there than to the Csound
list.

Finally I'd like to thank Iain McCurdy and Giorgio Zucco who have been
busy farming Cabbage instruments over the past few weeks and months.

Remember Cabbage is still in beta development, so if you don't have
the stomach for such raw software I advise you simply wait for a
future stable release!
