Subject[Csnd] qutecsound in csound5.11 release
Hi Mr. List,
only few things:

1- when i save a csd (in qute) the csd files has a final section about mac,
is it possible to avoid this?
2- i've set audacity like external editor and ext. player, but this last
(player) don't work; when i press the button nothings happen. I'm wrong
somethings?
3- i'm not able to set a default csd files. Anytime i set a different file,
at next qute reopen i have always same path in configure (csound/include).

Thanks all,

ciao,
fran.

This section is the widgets. It's not really Mac specific, but since
the format is borrowed from MacCsound, it's still includes Mac in the
names. If you are not using widgets and want to avoid saving this
sections, you can select "Save without widgets" in the preferences, or
if you just want to do it one time, you can use "Export without
widgets" in the File menu.
BTW would you be interested in translating QuteCsound to italian? (I
am guessing you are italian...)

Does it work with external editor properly?

yes, this has been fixed in svn, will be on the next release.

Hi Mr. Andres,
thanks.

1 You are right (and thank for explanation). I were sure to had disabled
that option, but it was not true
(do a program be more stupid than a stupid human (ie me)? No). Than this is
ok, now.

2 Yes, external editor works well with audacity, external player do not
work. I have try to set another program, too, but nothing happens. This is
not so important, because i use usually same external program, only i would
report this. But: is it not possible to have a simply wave player (or audio
player) integrated in Qute? Some program like WinXound had a player, why not
in Qute? Only an idea..

3 Thanks. I'll wait.

PS It would be nice for me to translate Qute in italian (i'm also slowly
working on csound translation).
Please tell me how can i do (and remember that i'm not so able with
programs).

Many Thanks, Mr. Andres,
and ... yes i WAS italian. Now, very sadly, i am a citizen of
BerlusconiLand, but SORRY, that's not matter for csound ...

ciao,
fran.

To do it, you need to get QtLinguist (you will have it already if you have Qt):

http://code.google.com/p/qtlinguistdownload/downloads/list

Then you need to open the italian translation of QuteCsound here
(click the download link):

http://qutecsound.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/qutecsound/trunk/qutecsound/src/qutecsound_it.ts?view=log

Then you open the translation in QtLinguist and when you've finished
send me the file.

If you want to translate the Quick Reference, you can get the odt version here.

http://qutecsound.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/qutecsound/trunk/qutecsound/doc/QuteCsound%20Quick%20Reference%20(0.4).odt?view=log

Let me know if you need any help or have any questions.

Thanks,
Andres
