| Hello, thanks everybody for the kind words!
To reply to the questions:
There is no general stop button for all players toghether but you can stop
them individually (q to o buttons). I've not included this feature tho give
the
feel of single players. I've included an "all on" button to try to play in
unison (is desired in the performing note of the piece).
External ftable txt files are easier to edit/manage, in this way you can
change the patterns (maybe using this csd with the Metallica guitar riffs
in
the txts eh eh eh minimalism metal...) without modifying too much the csd
file
(pattern length are calculated and stored automatically by instrument 1 to
53).
It would be an honour be included in the examples! Unfortunately I don't
use
Qutecsound at all since I still like classic csound (the thruth is that I'm
a
disaster at compiling software on my Linux machine). So everybody must feel
free to use and modify it.
I think that running the piece automatically it's not so difficult, the
only
constraint is to keep all the players in the range of 3 - 4 phrases
(recomended
in the performing note of the piece). Some random generators and values
check
would do the work, i suppose...
To Ian, very nice work, I constanly use your amazing examples as reference!
Again, thank you
Stefano
