[Csnd] Pipe csound audio to another audio application in windows.

Subject[Csnd] Pipe csound audio to another audio application in windows.
I want to send command line csound audio to Reaper so
I can record it there, along with MIDI. I found a nifty
inexpensive virtual MIDI cable that gets that part done
nicely. I need something now that will allow me to do the
same with audio.

Has anyone ever done this under windows? I heard about rewire,
and I think Jack runs under windows. Not sure about the
Csound/Reaper combo in particular.

Thanks,

Toby

I think Csound for Reaper like Csound for Live would be very good idea of a program. Reaper is I think the most widely used music editor around. I think rewire should work, it some sort of Java. But I was using it before I gave up completely on windows for Linux.

Csound can be embedded directly into any VST host(across all
platforms) using Cabbage. Save yourself the hassle of messing with
MIDI and audio routing. 64bit version for Windows here:

And If you need to run Csound as a standalone and route audio to Reaper, then ReaRoute will work well.  It is a virtual asio driver optionally installed with Reaper.

Video tutorial on using Cabbage and ReaRoute:

I thought this was cool at one stage, but now I prefer to simply embed
the instruments directly into Reaper as plugins :)

Actually, i embed most of my instruments as cabbage vst's. But in some occasions I've solved weird dropout issues by running some instruments as standalone, rearouting the audio to Reaper
