It seems that vst4cs has still some problems. I don't understand way but if set up one of those VSTi who has extra parameters (for examples needs to load a patch or select a sample set etc.etc.), the whole state of the instrument is saved when I use Nuendo and when I open the project, I find the VSTi in the very same situation, ready to work. I can't find a way to have the same result with Csound.

Yes, you can open the built-in plug-in editor and setup the VSTi by hand (I think, I didn't check it yet but you have an opcode for that) but I wanted to use Csound to make batch processing that I can't make with Nuendo. In this case I would need to re-edit the VSTi configuration manually each time I run Csound which completely eliminates the advantages of batch processing.

It's sad!

I usually use only the estimable Pianoteq, since it provides a physical model of a piano sound with configurable parameters that is superior to any other synthetic piano. For the other sorts of sounds, I use Csound instruments or SoundFonts through the fluid opcodes.
