The total output is almost 5000 lines for a 3 seconds test with a sample going through an instance of iZotope Trash.

This is not a major problem now but if I was making anything more complex I'd like to be able to turn this off.
I suppose this will cause everything to be much slower than needed and the output more difficult to read.

Also, it would be nice if vstinfo said the current values of the parameters.

Hi,

It's probably normal, since vst4cs might still be considered "in testing". It might depend on the particular plugin you select as well.
Is the text causing problems?

How many lines does it print? For some people, 100 is a lot, for others, 100,000 is a lot.
