No, I'm talking of vst4cs. (Someone else mentioned CsoundVST in this thread)

The problems is not loading a single program versus a bank.

Tha problem is setting up a complex VSTi: imagine using Kontakt or RealGuitar2.

How do you load the Kontakt instrument nki inside Csound?
How do you select the kind of guitar of RG2 in Csound?

Thanks!

Are you talking about vst4cs to run other VST plugins in regular Csound, or are you talking about using CsoundVST to run Csound in a VST host?

CsoundVST doesn't use parameters, it uses the CSD file which is stored in the song and this works fine as far as I know.

vst4cs has opcodes for loading and saving banks of presets and selecting a present from the bank. It does not seem to have opcodes for loading and saving a single preset. If your VST plugins use banks, you should be able to get this to work.

Hope this helps,
Mike

I don't understand way but if set up one of those VSTi who has extra parameters (for examples needs to load a patch or select a sample set etc.etc.), the whole state of the instrument is saved when I use Nuendo and when I open the project, I find the VSTi in the very same situation, ready to work. I can't find a way to have the same result with Csound..

>Yes, you can open the built-in plug-in editor and setup the VSTi by hand (I think, I didn't check it yet but you have an opcode for that) but I wanted to use Csound to make batch processing that I can't make with Nuendo. In this case I would need to re-edit the VSTi configuration manually each time I run Csound which completely eliminates the advantages of batch processing.
