[Csnd] where is the VST plugin?

Subject[Csnd] where is the VST plugin?
I downloaded and installed Setup_Csound_6.03.2-vst.exe on Windows 7, intending to use Csound as a VST plugin in Reaper. However, I can't find CsoundVst in the installation directory. Which file is the actual VST plugin and where is it located?

Thanks,
Mike

In the installation directory, bin subdirectory, CsoundVST.dll

But I must say, I tried but failed to get it to work in Reaper. It works just fine in VSTHost, it works in SIbelius, and it worked in Cubase when I had Cubase installed.

If you get it to work in Reaper, please tell me your setup.

Regards,
Mike

You can also try Cabbage. You can download pre-built binaries from here:
https://github.com/cabbageaudio/cabbage/releases
I'm away for the next two weeks but other on the list should be able
to help you out if you have any problems. The manual that comes with
Cabbage should be able to help you to get going.

Well, what I want to do is use Pianoteq as the sound source, and csound to provide the reverberation.

I can get Pianoteq to work with Reaper, but Mike says CsoundVST won't.

I can't get Pianoteq to work with VSTHost--I get sound clicks and dropouts even with large buffers. So even if I could get CsoundVST to work with VSTHost I can't use Pianoteq with it (until I solve the problem).

I will try both again. I suspect Pianoteq might be built with some of the same dlls as Csound, I'll check.
