Subject[Csnd] WinXound for OsX updated
Hi All,
an updated version of WinXound (3.4.0) for OsX is ready to download at:
(I've just updated the opcodes database to Csound 5.18).

I've also found a Mac with Lion installed so I've uploaded the sources
for XCode 4.5. Peiman and Dr.B please let me know about compilation
issues on Lion.

During the next days I will also update the Windows version.

Best,
Stefano

While you're at it, do you think it is possible to make a version for
Ubuntu12.04 too? You said that there are some problems, but perhaps other
Csounders can help out?

greetings
Menno

Dear Stefano,

This is amazing. Thank you very much.

I am still unable to build winxound on my system.

Best,
Peiman

Hi Peiman,
what kind of errors do you get from compiler?

Let me know, thanks.

Hello,

This is what I get on OS X 10.7.5

"The scheme 'WinXound' contains no buildables that can be built for
the SDKs supported by the run destination My Mac 64-bit. Make sure
your targets all specify SDKs that are supported by this version of
Xcode."

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? I just open the xcodes project and press compile.

Thanks

Hi Peiman,

I'm on 10.7.4, but that shouldn't make a difference. I downloaded the
xcode project, opened it, pressed compile and it ran. To note though,
it was pre-configured to use "My Mac 32-bit". I'd go into the project
and target settings and check the SDK you have selected. To do this,
in the left hand pane, select the top-level node ("WinXound Project").
In the center area, settings should show up. Click the project and
look at "Build Settings" and check out what you have for architectures
and Base SDK. I have "Standard 32/64-bit Intel" and "OSX 10.7" for
the Project settings, and for the WinXound Target, it's currently set
to "32-bit Intel" and "OSX 10.7". You can modify the WinXound Target
to "Standard 32/64-bit Intel" which might allow you to then run with
"My Mac 64-bit" setting.

Hi Steven,

Thanks for the pointers. I feel like I'm one step closer. I tried your options and it seems to work at first but fails to build again. Here is a screenshot of the settings and messages I get.

Thanks again

About the errors this is strange ... I remember I've commented about
3 or 4 errors (on OsX Lion 10.7.5 and XCode 4.5). About warnings there
are a lot (don't worry for the moment).

Let me know ...

OK I tried but get lots of these again. I commented some out but get more (around 20 in total). Should I comment all the lines out?
