Subject[Csnd] csound teaching report!
Dear all,

After the 4th Csound class I am happy to report that students are finding it very stimulating. They pick it up much more quickly than maxMSP and their imagination is captured beyond my belief! I played the Stria CSD from CsoundQT today and they seemed to love it. (We're still working only with WinXound so they haven' even been exposed to any GUI elements yet.) Their next task is to make a short study using only oscil and envelopes, let's see! Next, Cabbage.

Best,
Peiman

I hope I can get the AU version of Cabbage out in time! Do you guys
have any VST hosts on your machines?

Hi Rory, unfortunately not. We have Logic and Protools. We should have a vst host too but I don't think it's going to happen before next year. Good luck with making the AU work. Feel free to send me any test builds too.

Best,
Peiman
