Hi All, Inspired by Josh's code share, I spent a little time live coding and thought I'd share the result of the session, "Digital Conversations": https://ide.csound.com/editor/S8foDVJh8bcfiRVVd4CS (A zip of the project is also attached.) The code is in the modular synth style I've been exploring for a while with 5 related instruments using various layers of modulations and rates. Some harmonic relationships and randomization used that kind of brought it together to evolve in fun ways. It made me think of listening in on a conversation between machines. :) Cheers! Nice Steven, Always interesting to study how you work with Csound and get the musical results that you do. Thanks for making and sharing. -dB Dr. Richard Boulanger Professor Electronic Production and Design Berklee College of Music Professional Writing & Technology Division On Sat, Mar 13, 2021 at 1:05 PM Steven Yi <stevenyi@gmail.com> wrote: Hi All, |

Very catching! I let it run for a long time and it still kept my attention. It sounds really nice! tarmo Kontakt Dr. Richard Boulanger (<rboulanger@berklee.edu>) kirjutas kuupäeval L, 13. märts 2021 kell 20:15:

Thanks all! I've been enjoying having it on in the background too and hearing all the tender moments that come up as it evolves. Hopefully I will have some time to continue on this path and work out some live coding sessions to record for the future. :) On Sun, Mar 14, 2021 at 10:33 AM Jason Hallen <hallenj@gmail.com> wrote:

sweet, there's some interesting technique there too, that randh opcode is neat... i know of several different ways i can (ab)use that. |
