Subject[Csnd] TuneCore
I would be interested to hear (a) who is using TuneCore to sell music
they have composed, and (b) what their experience with TuneCore has
been (http://www.tunecore.com/).

Currently, I myself am using CDBaby. I am happy enough with CDBaby, it
has enabled me to sell CDs and obtain digital distribution for minimal
effort and investment.

I would also be interested to hear if anyone is selling music on their
own personal Web site, and how that has worked out.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Michael,

I have no experience of either but Chris Randall asked exactly the
same question 2 or 3 years ago on his blog, and the answers are worth
reading.

You've probably already seen this.

http://news.cnet.com/8301-13526_3-9739478-27.html

It's a little more recent (2007).

I read Mose Avalon's article comparing several of the digital services
and CD baby and don't agree with some of his conclusions. But
deferentially, considering his experience in the industry.

I like CD Baby a lot. If I had time to do my own fulfillment I'd
probably use a PayPal payment button and send the disks out myself.
