Has anyone ever tried running a virtual OSX on a PC?

I've tried, I have a legal copy of Snow Leopard, but couldn't get that
installed, so I ended up downloading an illegal hack. Works, but there
are some quirks, so I've used a real Mac. Windows XP works on the other
hand fine on Linux and Virtualbox. Need that to get my scanner working,
without the need to boot to Win7. Also one printer needs XP when using
Linux.

For what it's worth, my son attempted this with a legal copy of OSX and, although the box was running generally ok, it was prone to crashing fairly often. He's since reverted to a Windows installation.

Thanks guys. It might be worth a punt now that Apple are no longer
charging for their latest OS.
