With regard to the latest Windows Csound6 installer: sorry for the noise - mea maxima culpa. I keep forgetting that *Csound6 will not run on Windows XP*.

It's not just a problem of FLTK or MIDI not running, it's *Csound6 on XP*. (I need to keep repeating that.)

I'll try my *best* not to mention Windows XP along with Csound 6 again - I promise.

I've made sure to only install after previous versions have been uninstalled.

I will check the apk.

The double slashes are definitely not the problem.

The warnings may mean that you are running a different Csound than you think you are, or that the OPCODE6_DIR64 environment variable is not set. Did you install to a different directory?

On my PC here at work, I uninstalled Csound, then downloaded the new installer and installed it again, and it ran fine without these warnings.

Mike

I've not been able to run Csound6.01.1 from the Windows Setup installer (Csound6_6.01.1). Revelent console output:

I have uploaded a new Windows installer for Csound 6 and a new Android package for Csound 6 to SourceForge in the https://sourceforge.net/projects/csound/files/csound6/Csound6.01/ directory.

In addition to being compiled for Csound 6.01, the Windows installer now includes csound6~.dll, the Csound object for Pure Data on Windows, and CsoundQt version 0.8.1.

The Android package has been recompiled with current versions of libsndfile, the FluidSynth library, and LuaJIT as well as being updated with the sources for Csound 6.01.

In addition, I have posted a version of the Windows installer that also includes CsoundVST to my blog at http://michaelgogins.tumblr.com/. The installer can be downloaded from here.

I have only very lightly tested this release, so if you have any problems or comments, please let me know right away.

Regards,

Mike

Please try installing the Csound6.apk again from SourceForge. I have replaced the file.

I tested the old file and it wouldn't install on my phone after downloading, though it did after I copied it from my build computer, so I think it was corrupted somehow in my upload.

After I replaced the file on SourceForge, I removed the app and download from my phone, downloaded the file again, installed it, and this time it ran.

Thanks,
Mike

Subject: [Csnd] New upload of Windows installer

Regards,

Mike
