UDOs can accept string arguments too but this is not listed under 
intypes and outtypes.

'S' I guess? By the way do you have some kind of wysiwyg editor for the 
xml code in the manual or do you edit the xml stuff manually? Plus, must 
I build the entire manual each time I want to check the changes I've

Hi,

I don't have a WYSIWYG editor, but using Kate makes xml editing not a
torture =). With it you can quickly create and close tags, easily
indent, etc. It is really a pain, but after a while you get used to
it...
And yes, you have to build the enitre manual to see the changes you've
made. I haven't found another way.
