"the quick brown fox..." sample is from The Csound Book.

It is a sample of the voice of DSP chapter author  R. Erik Spjut
you have my, his, and MIT Press permission to use and include that sample.

Considering the next release, and manual changes.

Joachim Heintz has helped write a new example for the partikkel manpage.
It needs to use a sound file as input. It would be good to use a
recording of an acoustic sound (for example speech). He has used a
file called "fox.wav" with a male voice saying "the quick brown fox
jumps over the lazy dog"
Does anyone know the origin of this sound file, and if it is not
copyrighted so that we can safely distribute it ?
