I highly recommend scintilla. Making the syntax coloring work is cake. There 
already is a Csound syntax addition for it, in fact.

Another option for syntax highlighting would be the Colorer Library  
( http://colorer.sourceforge.net/ ). I haven't used it yet, but I  
heard that it works quite well.
