Hello, Here are the links to my challenge submission: http://www.audiosculptures.com/csound-challenges/09-may--Tweet-Sweet/090501--Tweet-Sweet.csd http://www.audiosculptures.com/csound-challenges/09-may--Tweet-Sweet/090501--Tweet-Sweet.ogg http://www.audiosculptures.com/csound-challenges/09-may--Tweet-Sweet/090501--Tweet-Sweet.mp3 I was hoping to edit the piece further but my schedule just filled up and I won't get a chance to before the deadline. --- To make this I modified the 3d modeling sequencer I've been working on to fit the instrument's parameter's -- then I drew a bunch of semi-random notes with lots of copying and pasting. Following that I edited most of the notes individually to give it a bit of life then copied and delayed a few tracks for a bit of spread in the mix. A video of the sequencer in action while working on the 1st section of the piece can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6dlZM1wZRU --- I'm undecided on generating a high-quality video from the 3d score since they take so long to render and cpu time is at a premium, but I can probably be persuaded to set up a run if people express some interest. To get an idea of what the video might look like check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlJvLWkM_0g which is a low-quality version of the piece I demoed for Dr.B last summer. Anyway, this was really fun and it's given me a lot of good ideas on what to work on next. Thanks Tobiah, for suggesting it. Cheers, -andy.f |

Maybe we should just lift the deadline for now until the submissions subside. I'll try to get a website going this weekend where we can review submissions and comment on them. |

Hi Tobiah, I have no objections to an extension but I'm busy putting together a ballet piece with my brother at the end of July -- so Tweet Sweet will have remain "as-is". Please consider it my final submission for the challenge. Hi Fran, Thanks for listening, I'm glad you like it. I'm still very busy developing the AudioCarver application so I haven't had a lot of time to put together descriptions and info regarding what it does or how it works, but feel free to ask questions should you be interested further. I will try to answer them as best I can.
