Subject[Csnd] re cord midi events from live midi input
Hi,

i was wondering, after having read how to record a .wav when playing a midi
keyboard, if it could be possible to write in midi events and notes in a
ftable so they get stored there for later replay?
(And i don't mean with the aid of a sequencer like Cubase but in the score
of Csound itself.)
I do not ask for a finished example, but would it be in priciple possible?

Menno

yes, I think this should be no problem. There are table writing
opcodes (eg tabw), which can be called to write when a
note starts.

Or you can write a Midifile from your Midi-Output using the flag
--midioutfile=FILENAME
