This is just a note to let the list know what a wonderful job Michael 
Rhoades did hosting the recent SEAMUS conference at Sweetwater Music in Fort 
Wayne, Indiana.

The Sweetwater campus/mall and facilities are superb, well-suited (and 
staffed) for an event of this kind.

A number of list participants presented their work: among them, in addition 
to Michael, Russell Pinkston, John Lato and Dennis Miller.

The conference is a stellar annual event that offers exposure to U.S. 
electroacoustic composers, especially to colleagues and students from around 
the country. Kevin Austin (Canada) was also in attendance, presenting a 
special program on Stockhausen's Kontacte.

Again, a special thanks to Michael and Sweetwater for a great conference.
