Have you considered, or dealt with Wiimote to MIDI conversion?

It would be interesting to do live performance works for *either* Wiimote or 
MIDI - including modifying existing works for MIDI to be optionally 
performable by Wiimote(s).

I was particularly thinking of default "channel"/instrument arrangements 
(hopefully paralleling MIDI), and Wiimote data easily convertible to MIDI 
note on/off or controller values.

OTOH, perhaps it would be wise to keep Wiimote and MIDI protocol completely 
separate, given the limitations of MIDI.
