Subject[Csnd] Cabbage v0.03.03 (OSX 10.6)
I'm happy to announce that I've finally got around to updated Cabbage for OSX.
http://www.thecabbagefoundation.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=79

For anyone not in the know, Cabbage is a Csound frontend that let's
you create high-end software instruments that use the audio processing
power of Csound. Not only can it be used in a standalone mode, but it
can also export any instrument as a VST plugin so you can easily tap
into the power of Csound from any hosts such as Cubase, Ableton Live,
Renoise, Reaper, etc.

Many thanks to Iain McCurdy and Giorgio Zucco for building over 60
amazing instruments which are part of the this latest release. For the
latest news, tutorials and sample instruments please visit

Rory.

Fantastic!

And great timing too.  Seems to be working quite well with OSX 10.8.1

Thanks Rory for this wonderful work.
And Thanks Iain and Giorgio for the fabulous collection of instruments!

Looking nice! For some reason though Ian's Inharmonic Synth doesn't
seem to be working. I think it's possibly an issue with the Envelop?
Does this look normal? (See picture attached)

Cheers,

For anyone not in the know, Cabbage is a Csound frontend that let's
you create high-end software instruments that use the audio processing
power of Csound. Not only can it be used in a standalone mode, but it
can also export any instrument as a VST plugin so you can easily tap
into the power of Csound from any hosts such as Cubase, Ableton Live,
Renoise, Reaper, etc.

Many thanks to Iain McCurdy and Giorgio Zucco for building over 60
amazing instruments which are part of the this latest release. For the

Hi Rory,

I'm still getting internet worked out here in Maynooth after moving
back (heading off on some more trips again though on Wednesday). I'm
planning on downloading Cabbage on OSX tomorrow, and will look at
cloning the source too to see if I can build it here.

Otherwise, all this stuff sounds great! I think all of the work that
Iain, Giorgio, Dr. B and his team with CsoundTouch/csSpectral is all
making for some exciting times for Csound. Thanks to you all for your
inspiring work!

Hi Rory,

I checked out the code from SVN and saw an XCode project there. The
project failed to compile though, so I'm assuming that it's not up to
date? I could do some simple debugging help once things are
compilable.

Also, I tried the standalone .app and got the same issues as reported.
Also, the keyboard widget did not seem to trigger any notes on some
of the examples.

Thanks!

Thanks Steven, that Xcode project is way off. I can send you an
updated one off list but to be honest, it's not much good until I
write a quick readme about building on OSX. Can you remind me of the
reported problem with the standalone app? I thought the only real
issue was with some of the examples? Btw, I would really appreciate
your help on OSX. I'm teaching all day today and for most of tomrrow,
but after that I will try to make the OSX bulid as straight forward as
possible. Thanks again.

Well the issues I saw were the envelop editors not showing on the
Inharmonic Synth and the keyboard widget not playing any notes (though
audio test in the audio settings worked fine). If the XCode Project
is big, send me a link would be better, or if it's small just email me
off list.

Thanks!
