[Csnd] CsoundQT on osx crashing

I was showing CsoundQT to my class today and it kept on crashing randomly. It doesn't seem very stable on 10.7 OSX and a few bugs too. Has anyone had similar experiences? I may have to change to winXound for the time being. Although it's a pity not to have the GUI building environment. Thanks Peiman |

| Hello List, Yesterday was a crash-filled day for me too. Rather embarrassing given that it was class one of the semester and there were 13 pretty great students in there. Students asked "is it always this unstable?" Crash Crash Crash Crash Crash. Crashing on their machines too. In front of the class, showing them how to download and install and run for the first time. Setting MIDI in CsoundQt. crash, crash, crash. Changing the fontSize in CsoundQt crash, crash, crash. Couldn't find the USB MIDI controller that was plugged in. Mountain Lion - OSX 10.8.1 Latest Csound and CsoundQT from that folder/installer Later substituted Alpha CsoundQt - seemed a little better Later substituted older QuteCsound - seemed a little better But very shaky. By the way. Csound seems to be Doubles and CsoundQt seems to be the float version. Also, we need an update (please) of csound~ And, if poossible, could we release updates of the Stand-alone Csound Utilities - especially pvanal and cvanal. - to 64bit Thanks for any/all your attention to this. It would be huge if we could get a stable release of Csound and CsoundQt for the latest MacOS.
