I remember reading some time back that
csound could not guarantee precise timing
of the delivery of midi out events (midion).
I supposed that this was because there is
uncertainty as to how full the soundcard
buffer is at any given time.  I'm in an environment
where I have to run -b 2048 -B 4096 or I get blips,
so I was concerned about the timing of the midion
events.
