Hi everybody,

I'm using csound with cabbage and with the module c4u in the "sensomusic
usine" software.

I want  to know if it is possible to load new sound with an osc string
message with the filename "c:\mydocument\mysound.wav" for example

.

Are you asking if one can send an OSC message to Csound with a
particular file name, and then have Csound play that file? I've not
done much work with OSC and Csound but I assume it's possible. You
just need to get the filename from the message and then use an event
opcode to trigger the an instrument capable of playing a soundfile. At
least that's how I would tackle the problem. Others might have more
eloquent solutions.

I'm afraid I'm still not clear on what you wish to achieve. I'm not at
all familiar with Usine, I've never used it. Therefore I have no idea
what c4u is. Can you provide me with a link to a description of what
it is? You should be able to use the OSC opcodes with Csound and wrap
it up in Cabbage into a VST plugin that Usine can load.
