A final reminder that 'Sounds Electric 07' (five days of electroacoustic and live electronic music, improvisation, music theatre, audiovisual screenings, talks and workshops) will take place in Dundalk, Ireland from Tuesday of next week through to Saturday. Plenty of regulars from this list have been invited to give concerts, talks and workshops. For more info please check out the homepage at: www.soundselectric.org If anyone has any queries please don't hesitate to contact me directly. Alternatively you can contact us at soundselectric@ear.ie Rory. p.s. I didn't post as 'off topic' as most of the concerts, talks, and workshops taking place deal directly with aspects of Csound... |

Thanks Steven. I'm sure there will be plenty of papers that could be used as articles for an upcoming Csound Journal. Although we hadn't planned on putting presentations online I can ask the authors if they would mind. It's a pity you can't make it, thanks again for your support. Rory. Looks fantastic - wish I could be there.... Will the talks be recorded? I'm sure lots of people would _love_ to be able to hear them. Good luck to you all - break a leg etc David On 16/11/2007, at 8:26 AM, Chuckk Hubbard wrote: > On Nov 15, 2007 7:18 PM, Rory Walsh |

Well it's all over. It was a great week, although I will now need a week of 'sounds relaxing' in order to recover from the copious levels of stress I found myself under at times! I have to extend a huge thank you to Matt Ingalls, Jo Anderson, Oeyvind Brandstegg, Iain McCurdy, Saul Rayson, and Jean Piché for their patience, support, and good humour. Without there kindness and support this festival would not have been possible. I'd also like to thank them on behalf of my students for sharing their expertise with us over the course of the week. I will try to produce a report of the event for the Csound journal when I get a chance. Now it's back to work.. Regards, Rory. |
