Subject[Csnd] Newbie midi questions...
Hi there! I am a new for csound, so i try to write my own orc. I have a
lot of starting questions.

1. I want try to use real-time midi input in my instrument, so I need to
specify -AM flag, but i don't know what kind of driver I using (salsa,
mme). And then I will need to specify device number(name), so where to
see all info about it?

I am on WinXP.

Thanks a alot.

The flag you need is -M and for XP, you can try

-M0

which will give you the 1st midi device, if this is not the correct one,
a list is printed and you can choose another number. The printed list
should look like this (this is my computer)

The available MIDI in devices are:
0: In USB Audio Quattro (MMSystem)
    1: MPU-401 (MMSystem)
