I keep wanting to create diagrams of instruments to help me see how things are connected. I've tried Dia in the past and then would give up, not having any shapes that worked just right. This time I am starting the process of creating the shapes to use. My question is, has someone else already done this? If not, my next question is, where do I find out the standard for what shapes to use for the different opcodes? Is there a standard? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Using-Dia-for-drawing-out-instrument-diagrams-tp19589773p19589773.html Sent from the Csound - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

I noticed that the files were saved in XML format. I was able to write a DOM parser in python that would read the dia diagram, and output the SQL necessary to create the database from it. Nice way to develop a database. Perhaps a similar thing could be done with whatever csound orchestras you create with dia. Aren't there already some graphical tools though, that can generate csound orchestras based on a diagram? |
