I have uploaded Windows installers for Csound version 5.09 beta to the beta release page on SourceForge. These packages are built with MinGW 4.3.2, use the latest versions of third party libraries, and the installer is supposed to work both with and without Python being installed. I also have improved some of the example orchestras and added drone.py demo. I attach the csound-build.pdf document which details most of the procedures I used for building the installers. This maybe useful for other people who want to build Csound on Windows. Please let me know ASAP of any problems or questions. As someone has pointed out on the Csound users list, csnd.jar is no good in this release -- only 434 bytes, and contains no class files at all, just a manifest and an empty csnd folder. - Dave Michael Gogins wrote: > I have uploaded Windows installers for Csound version 5.09 beta to the beta release page on SourceForge. > > These packages are built with MinGW 4.3.2, use the latest versions of third party libraries, and the installer is supposed to work both with and without Python being installed.
