Yeah I should have said that I did that. Tried several different  
versions. Here is the crash log for MacCsound 1.3b4 and Csound5.08- 
OSX10.4-PPC - csound lib only installed
Don't know if it will help.

maccsound works with ppc version, but not always
correctly.

I got some problem with some opcode...
it doesen't works with the csound∼ object in
max/msp.

it would be great a new maccsound version
for intel mac....

you have to send the bottom stuff of the crash report (that has function names instead of numbers) for it to be of any use.

anyway, does it crash when you launch it or what?

i should mention that it does get fussy on some of the newer machines where built-in input and output are separate devices, in these cases i have had better luck making an aggregate device (or just set input device to "None")

Hi Matt,

What I attached was all that was in the crash report. Decided to open  
the console to see if it shed any light on the crash. Looked like  
libsndfile was not loading so i went back to the csound5 bundle and  
loaded the support libs pkg and that seems to have done the trick.

Appreciate the help.

Maybe you've already posted this but are you working on an intel  
version ? If so any release date yet?
