maccsound works with ppc version, but not always correctly. I got some problem with some opcode... it doesen't works with the csoundā¼ object in max/msp. it would be great a new maccsound version for intel mac.... fv Il giorno 22/set/08, alle ore 08:04, Matt Ingalls ha scritto: > you need to install the PPC (!) version of csound5.pkg > > ________________________________________ > From: cd@xnet.com [cd@xnet.com] > Sent: Sunday, September 21, 2008 6:50 PM > To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk > Subject: [Csnd] MacCsound - Intel OSX 10.5.5 > > Hi, > > Anyone have MacCsound running on Intel under OSX 10.5.5 ? > If so how did you get it to run? > > Thanks, > > > Chris > > > > > > > Send bugs reports to this list. > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body > "unsubscribe csound" > > > Send bugs reports to this list. > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body > "unsubscribe csound" |

you have to send the bottom stuff of the crash report (that has function names instead of numbers) for it to be of any use. anyway, does it crash when you launch it or what? i should mention that it does get fussy on some of the newer machines where built-in input and output are separate devices, in these cases i have had better luck making an aggregate device (or just set input device to "None") -m ________________________________________ From: cd@xnet.com [cd@xnet.com] Sent: Monday, September 22, 2008 9:39 AM To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk Subject: [Csnd] Re: RE: MacCsound - Intel OSX 10.5.5 Hi Matt, Yeah I should have said that I did that. Hi Matt, What I attached was all that was in the crash report. Decided to open the console to see if it shed any light on the crash. Looked like libsndfile was not loading so i went back to the csound5 bundle and loaded the support libs pkg and that seems to have done the trick. Appreciate the help. Chris PS Maybe you've already posted this but are you working on an intel version ? If so any release date yet?
