[Csnd] HRTF data files

Subject[Csnd] HRTF data files
  Hi everyone,

I started tinkering around with the HRTF opcodes yesterday, and quickly discovered I needed to find the HRTF data files to use them.. which led me into the labyrinth yesterday.

The manual's entry for htrfmove leads to 'http://www.csoundjournal.com/issue9/newHRTFOpcodes.html', which has a link to the files on the old sourceforge page (which is now defunct).  Some of the other htrf opcodes link to the ancient baths ftp site, which also no longer exist.

Somehow, I found the files, and I can't quite figure out where from my browser history.

After doing more research this morning, I discovered that the 44.1 format data samples are included in the 'example' sub-directory of the manual's project on github. But the 48 & 96khz versions are not.

Now it gets even a bit stranger -- the files I found yesterday are all exactly twice the size of the files on the github project.  Both versions seem to work just as well.

My questions: does anyone have a link to the 'official' hrtf data files?  If not, perhaps we should make a git repository for them and update the manual with a valid source?

Thank you. Of course, they're in the most obvious place that I didn't even think to look in.
