I have been using bbcut2 in SC3 for about two years, Nick really
did an amazing job.
there is also a cool VST~ called Livecut that your students might
like, Dr. B.

A FLTK RT interface for BBCut in Csound would be way cool

I've made a simple FLTK bbcut interface here:
http://www.iainmccurdy.org/csoundrealtimeexamples/soundfileplayback/bbcut.csd
The sound file it uses seems to be missing so you'll have to supply your own in the meantime.
bbcut2 would be nice.
bye, Iain
