I was thinking the same thing when I purchased the book a few months ago. One of the extra materials I was particularly interested in was entitled "From Csound to C" but the content isn't available at the specified link on the CD-ROM.

Agreed, that chapter, plus the ones on developing in Xcode, both looked particularly interesting.

It's getting a little old and not sure about availability, but a book I've found useful in this regard is Phil Winsor and Gene DeLisa's book, __Computer Music in C__. Has a nice selection of useful routines.

And don't forget Moore's "Elements of Computer Music". Some nice stuff
in there too.

I don't even know if those chapters were ever written. I think only Dr B
can answer this question. And of course both Csound and Xcode have
evolved somewhat from those days!

I did include a tiny example of Csound code converted to standalone C,
in my DVD chapter completing C, and using the Csound 'oscil' code as an
example of the use of bitwise arithmetic for speed.

Hey Richard,

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely be checking that particular chapter out--I understand Csound and Objective-C, but my C skills could realllly use some improving.

Many thanks!
