I developed a *very* rough and simple Chrome extension based on one of the examples... it's just a few lines of javascript, but I find it quite useful. It allows you to highlight text *anywhere* in Chrome (including text input fields where you're typing), right click it, and open a corresponding page in the Csound manual for it. It's just a simple addition of .html, so case matters! For example, if I highlight the word "oscil" and right click, choose Csound Doc Search, it brings me here: https://csound.com/docs/manual/oscil.html You can find the extension and instructions for installing it here: |

Hi Dr.B! I'm glad you've found it useful. I just updated CsLookup to 1.1 today, which adds a link to the reference page (thanks to Arthur and Dave Hunkins for the suggestion and PR), and adds the ability to search the Github version of the manual. The Github manual version is especially useful for people running custom builds of csound, since it includes any new opcodes pages and changes to examples without having to wait for a full version release updating the official manual. Hopefully this adds to the usefulness. Be safe and healthy everyone! On Thu, Jan 7, 2021 at 11:56 PM Dr. Richard Boulanger <rboulanger@berklee.edu> wrote:
