For all of you who patiently have been waiting for the new version of
Csound to be made available in a Windows installer, I am now actively
working on it. I have almost all of the required tools and third party
libraries installed and configured on my new laptop. Then I need to
actually build Csound, test it, and update the installer. I should
have the new installer in about a week.

After that, I plan to focus on composing and on working on parallel Csound.

first of all, thanks for Your work in Csound, then a little request:

could be possible to update tcl tk csound interface (cstcl, cswish) to tcl
tk 8.5?

If i'm correct it is yet linked to version 8.4.

Just a personal request hoping i'm not wrong about the above.

I've been distracted by ParCS, kind of hoping it would be ready to go.
Not yet. I will do 5.12 next week, it is built and just needs to be
tested.
