Subject[Csnd] New QuteCsound screencasts
Hi all,

Since I haven't got around to making proper documentation of some
recent features in QuteCsound, I decided to do a couple of
screencasts.

Presets tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKlCTxmzcS0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aES-ZfanF3c

Live Events tutorial:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs3eO7o349k
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUMzp6556Kw

New editing features in 0.6.0:

I hope they are useful.

Cheers,
Andrés

Andrés,

These screenCasts are fantastic!
I hope that you will do more of them.
It is so fantastic to get insights from the developer himself on how to use some
of the new features of QuteCsound - and how Csound might be used in a different way.
Your front-end has opened many new doors for all of us!  And these screenCasts really
take us into the new "wonderland".

Combined with the wonderful video tutorials by Alex Hofmann, and the incredible set of tutorial
instruments by yourself, Alex, Joachim Heintz and others, it is clear that students everywhere
can really make music with Csound now.

Thanks so much for all your great work.  Please keep the videos coming!

(I hope that they inspire Steven Yi and the Blue Users to do a set of Blue screenCasts too,
because his front-end is amazingly powerful and full featured as well.  With some hand-holding
from him, I think that students everywhere would be able to "play and sing" the "blues" as well.)

Dr. B.

PS:  It is wonderful that your screencasts were featured at Peter Kirn's Create Digital Music Blog too!
(My students have been sending me emails because they discovered the screencasts there.)

Agreed, great job on the screencasts!

Hopefully I'll have some time soon to do some blue ones too! :)
