Greetings,

The subject line says it all.

It's on YouTube, sorry about that. IIRC the MP4 can be downloaded from
the link.

Best,

Thanks, Victor. I think I'm getting a little better at converting the
original video to something I can bear to show on-line. Did you happen
to watch it in HD ?

The original images come from a fascinating series of photographs taken
by NASA's HiRISE camera on-board the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO).
The video utilized only four images of the Martian landscape, treated in
three tracks, each of which is subjected to a unique
process/transformation (blur, warp, rgb offset, etc).

The original shots are :

The audio was appropriated from another project. IIRC it was an
audio-only project made with AVS too, but I've forgotten what synthesis
methods I used for it. I can find out if anyone wants to know, I still
have the orginal work file. Btw, AVS creates a standalone CSD for each
video.

Thanks for listening/viewing ! :)

Best,

dp

I would also like to congratulate you, Dave, for this nice video with sound,
especially impressive if looked at and heard in a dim light.

I would certainly be interested in studying the way you did the sounds, if
possible, of course. I liked the almost "vocal" sounds at first, that get
splintered into higher spectral colours towards the end. If you have more
information about it, or even the CSD file, I would very much like to take a
look at it.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Marco
