I was trying to connect csound to pd with OSC and was surprised by this error:

Displays suppressed
0dBFS level = 32000.0
OSC server error 9904 in path (null): cannot find free port
Csound tidy up: Bus error

Any idea what does it means?

I haven't got time to check now but I remember using OSC with pd a few
months ago with no problems.

Have you considered using the csoundapi~ object, it is a lot easier
than messing with OSC messages. With it you can have direct two-way
communication between Csound and Pd.
